Ranchu goldfish are one of the larger species of goldfish and can reach a length of up to 18 inches. 

These freshwater fish are not found in the wild, and are a kind of fancy goldfish. Like other Fancies, these fish are a product of selective breeding techniques from hundreds of years ago.
